Inaugurated in 2012, this double-deck aerial cableway with an open upper deck is a world first. The cabins run on two carrying cables, one on each side, and are stabilized at the base – a technical innovation that gives passengers the sensation of floating above the valley. Climb the spiral staircase inside the cabin to the upper deck and enjoy a 360° panorama and the unforgettable “CabriO feeling” in the fresh mountain air.
Your event on the Stanserhorn
Would you like to plan a special outing, celebrate an occasion, or have the mountain all to yourself for an evening? The Stanserhorn cable car team will be happy to organize this for you in the revolving restaurant.
On the summit trail, the nature reserve and the Stanserhorn energy spot invite you to explore and relax. You may even meet the Stanserhorn Ranger on your way. Out of around 17 volunteer rangers, one is on duty every day between the revolving restaurant and the summit, gladly sharing their extensive knowledge with visitors.
