The ISLCCC is the largest international congress on late effects of childhood cancer. It was held in Switzerland for the first time in June 2024. Around 300 participating guests from all over the world (mainly Europe and America, but also Africa, Asia and Oceania) took part on site. Additional people joined online. For our international guests, the congress was the reason for their trip to Switzerland, but the congress location of Lucerne was certainly another reason to make the journey. In addition to the congress, the participants were particularly impressed by the boat trip on Lake Lucerne with aperitif and the congress dinner at Lido Beach with its wonderful view of the Alps. The large lecture hall at the University of Lucerne offered an extremely central location for all participants, with the opportunity to spend the breaks in the foyer or right next door by the lake. Once again, thank you very much for supporting the congress. We really received a lot of positive feedback.

The 46th International EPTA Conference took place in Lucerne from 29.2. to 3.3.2024 under the title “Changes - Visions & Evolutions in Piano Music”. In partnership with the Lucerne School of Music, the EPTA Switzerland (European Piano Teachers' Association) hosted around 50 speakers from Switzerland and abroad, almost half of whom were Swiss. Over the course of four days, around 170 guests, many of them from all over the world, were inspired by the lectures, listened to short concerts, went on a city tour, enjoyed a festive meal to mark the 40th anniversary of EPTA Switzerland and enjoyed a lively professional and collegial exchange. The top-class architectural infrastructure of the Lucerne School of Music and the beautiful ambience of Lucerne and its surroundings made the conference particularly special. EPTA Switzerland would like to thank the Lucerne Convention Bureau for its generous support.
