Rigi

On Mount Rigi, you can go hiking, relaxing, swimming and, in winter, sledging and skiing. Adventure and fresh air make you hungry: fireplaces and restaurants are open all year round.

The Rigi is located in the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne Region and is easily accessible from all directions. A total of nine different cable cars provide access to the imposing Rigi massif, which stretches from Küssnacht in the north to Brunnen in the south.

The local recreation area has a well-signposted network of hiking trails and offers activities for young and old. Various playgrounds and a rope park are available to let off steam. Test your skills at mini golf or look over the cheesemaker's shoulder in the alpine cheese dairy. If you'd like to stay a little longer, make yourself comfortable in one of the hotels or guesthouses and be impressed by the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
