GENESIS returns to the place where it all began. In 2019, the first part premiered at the inaugural LiLu Light Festival in Lucerne. Since then, GENESIS I and II have been presented in more than 40 cities across four continents, from London and Boston to São Paulo, Santiago de Chile, and Adelaide. Eight years later, the immersive light show returns to Lucerne in a completely new version, presented for the first time at the Jesuit Church.
GENESIS REMASTER combines both parts and all seven days of creation into a newly designed, comprehensive production. An immersive journey unfolds, from the first light through aquatic worlds, plants, and animals to the whales and, finally, to humankind. Revised visuals and music, projections precisely tailored to the architecture, and a specially developed laser installation merge into a total experience of light, sound, and movement.
