From 2026, exclusive cruises are set to be organised on Lake Lucerne for the first time on a specially designed ship. The planned route will take the MS Rigatus across the whole of Lake Lucerne and stop at the most beautiful places on its shores. For instance, guests on board can get to know the Rütli, the place where Switzerland was founded, and take excursions to Mount Rigi or Mount Pilatus. The MS Rigatus also stops at well-known resorts such as the Park Hotel Vitznau or the Bürgenstock Resort for lunches and dinners. The MS Rigatus will offer space for 22 guests, further enhancing the already diverse range of tourist attractions in the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne Region.
