Special Location
The Bourbaki Panorama is located on the edge of Lucerne's Old Town, right next to the Lion Monument.
The now listed building was built in 1889 for the presentation of the Bourbaki panorama circular painting. An event in the museum - surrounded by the giant circular painting - is unique. The giant circular painting also symbolises Switzerland's humanitarian tradition. A customised personal introduction to the painting rounds off joint events such as company events, drinks receptions, lectures, birthday parties or graduation ceremonies.

The museum's event team invites you to use the museum and, on request, other rooms of our partners in the building (cinemas or Bourbaki Bar) in a variety of ways. The unique ambience makes the cultural monument an excellent place to celebrate and indulge in culinary delights.

Sustainable commitment

The Bourbaki in Lucerne focusses on a seasonal and regional range of products. Leftover food is either passed on to the team for their own use or given away at Madame Frigo. The event location also has a water station which is from WasserfürWasser.
