We experience the Rhine from up close and from above

Attention! Due to construction work on the chairlift, the bike/hiking path section Val Val - Cuolm Val is closed from 22.09. - 26.09.2025.

We start off easy and roll down to the Rhine, cross it and follow the river on the other side of the valley past the power plant and campsite to Selva.

We follow the road over the golf course, at the end of which a hiking trail leads uphill to Tschamut.

From Tschamut station, we follow the hiking trail along the railway line to Oberalp Pass. Occasionally, a train rumbles through the gallery next door.

From Oberalp Pass, we continue towards Sedrun, together with hikers on the Senda Sursilvana (route 85). Courtesy makes coexisting easy.

In Milez, a stop at the mountain hut Las Palas is worthwhile to refill energy reserves – because from Alp Mulinatsch follows a steep climb to the height of Liets.

The descent to Alp Malamusa through the forest on a trail is all the faster! After crossing the Milar stream, the path leads above the valley floor back to the starting point at Sedrun.
