The Lucerne Convention Bureau is the business arm of the Lucerne Tourist Board and has the following core tasks: consulting and selling of additional services for custormers (free of charge), buidling and maintaining the brand of the Premium Business Destination Lucerne - Lake Lucerne and coordination of the MICE-players in the destination.

We provide our detailed local knowledge and experience to support your event planning free of charge. As networkers for the specialist providers in the conference, meeting and congress trade in the Lucerne - Lake Lucerne region, we are able to offer you valuable tips.

Congress support

Are you planning a congress in Lucerne? We would be very pleased to welcome you to our city to support your event. Lucerne City, Lucerne Tourism, the Business Development and Lucerne Hotels offer finanical congress support.

How does it work

The allocation of subsidies will be regulated by a commission comprised of organisations which are financially involved. Applications for subsidies must be sent to the LCB.

Minimum requirements

  • The duration of the congress must be a minimum of 1.5 days and include an overnight stay in a hotel in the official program.
  • The minimum number of participants attending the congress is 100.
  • Events must primarily be carried out in a conference center, which is a member of the Lucerne Convention Bureau.
  • New or first-time congresses will be given priority for the granting of subsidies.
