The Lucerne Convention Bureau is the business arm of the Lucerne Tourist Board and has the following core tasks: consulting and selling of additional services for custormers (free of charge), buidling and maintaining the brand of the Premium Business Destination Lucerne - Lake Lucerne and coordination of the MICE-players in the destination.

The allocation of subsidies will be regulated by a commission comprised of organisations which are financially involved. Applications for subsidies must be sent to the LCB.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the financial contributions will be increased and the minimum criteria will be adjusted. These temporary regulations apply to events that will take place until mid-2021. The minimum criteria are listed below.
The calculation of the subsidy amount is based on the number of overnight stays in hotels in Lucerne:
The base amount can be incresed by 75 % when the congress is held between November 1st and April 30th.
Furthermore, the base amount will be increased by 50 % if the event takes place before 30 June 2021.
