A tour of an ewl plant offers answers to your questions about electricity: where does it come from? How does water produce electricity? How do solar PV arrays work?
Some of ewl's power and potable water plants are open to the public, and individual visitors can avail themselves of guided tours of these facilities.

This plant has been producing electricity from a renewable resource, namely the water from the Reuss in the heart of Lucerne, since 1998. It produces some 3,000,000 kilowatt hours of electricity annually.
The water of Lake Lucerne is processed at this plant in Kreuzbuch and pumped into the municipal water supply.
