Visit the Kaltbach caves

Well rested, you can set off for the Emmi Kaltbach Caves. Today you will visit the Lucerne countryside and spend a day in the green. The drive takes only about 30 minutes, along Lake Sempach. Arrived in Kaltbach, you will discover the world of cheese - the Kaltbach Caves, a real treasure trove of taste.

Deep under the ground, exquisite cheeses ripen. Thanks to the natural conditions of the cave and the loving care of the cave masters, the cheeses get their unmistakable taste. The cave masters care for the loaves according to a unique refinement process, which has been passed on from cave master to cave master for decades.

Lunch at the event-farm Urchig

Experience the traditional "Älplerchilbi" with cream cheese from the copper kettle, shake until there is butter, bowling on the wooden lane, nailing with the hammer, puzzles about Swiss customs, dexterity on the alpine dairyman's wall, swinging a thaler to the "Örgeli music" and take home the most beautiful memories with the most traditional Älpler photo.

The event-farm Urchig serves you traditional Swiss food in porcelain bowls just like in the old days. Always freshly prepared and as much as your heart desires.

Dinner directly on Lake Lucerne

In the afternoon you will return to Lucerne where you will enjoy some free hours - a walk by the lake? A discovery tour through the city? A coffee in one of Lucerne's many cosy restaurants and bars? Spend a few hours just as you wish.

Together with your group you will travel to the Seehotel Hermitage in Lucerne in the evening. On the terrace you could forget to eat or drink something because of the beautiful view of the lake and mountains. So it's good to know that you'll certainly be delighted with the culinary delights of this sunny and secluded spot.

Excursion to Mount Stanserhorn

On the third day you will experience a very special ride - the CabriO Cable Car takes you high up to Mt. Stanserhorn.
A new type of cable car system allows guests to glide under the open sky towards the Stanserhorn. The double-decker aerial tramway with two cabins has an open upper deck. Standing on the gondola roof with your hair waving, enjoying a fantastic circular panorama and thus being able to ride up to the 1,900-metre-high Stanserhorn, what more could you want?!

Once at the top you can enjoy the magnificent view over the mountains and lakes of Central Switzerland before a ranger takes you on a tour. He will be happy to show you where the eagle flies its circles, the most beautiful flowers grow or tell you fascinating anecdotes from the history of the Stanserhorn.

Hungry, you then proceed to the Rondorama Restaurant. There you take a seat on a turntable, which allows the guests to slowly and calmly gaze at the panorama outside while eating.

Relaxation and overnight at the Bürgenstock Resort

After a short drive, you will reach the Bürgenstock Resort. The resort is situated on a wooded rocky outcrop, 500 metres above Lake Lucerne and offers a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains, such as Rigi or Pilatus.

Relax in the luxurious Alpine Spa on over 10,000 square metres. Between sky and water - treat yourself to a first-class wellness experience amidst the breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne and the Alpine landmarks. Perhaps you'd like a massage or some yoga on the terrace?

Totally refreshed, you'll meet the group at the Spices restaurant to enjoy the excellent Pan-Asia cuisine. Bon appetit!

Out into the nature

The mountain guide is already waiting for you to show you the beautiful mountain world during a hike.

Diverse and varied landscapes, from lush flowering meadows, through green forests, to bizarre rock formations, alpine high mountains and glaciers. Impressive side valleys, countless mountain lakes, 500 km hiking trails, 16 mountain huts or the four-source trail are waiting to be discovered.

Dinner and overnight

So much exercise and fresh air naturally makes you hungry. Together with the group you will set off for the village of Andermatt, where you will enjoy a traditional Swiss cheese fondue in a rustic restaurant in the village. A fine Swiss white wine goes wonderfully with it - cheers!

Afterwards, stretch your tired legs at the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen. Or perhaps you'd like to have a nightcap by the fireplace in the hotel lobby first?

Guided tour of Andermatt

Early in the morning you wake up and rub your eyes - are you still dreaming? No, you are actually in the middle of the beautiful alpine mountain world of Andermatt.

This morning you experience the village from the perspective of a local. Bänz Simmen knows the region like no other. On the village tour he shows his Andermatt to the guests and has many stories to tell.

Lunch in the middle of the Alps

Powerful and breathtakingly elegant, Restaurant Gütsch nestles on a small plateau above Andermatt on the summit peaks. The view of the Central Alps is almost endless. After a short gondola ride you will reach this unique place where you will be spoiled with a fine meal.

The restaurant is a cheerful and light-footed place to eat, drink and celebrate: Swiss wine is best recommended and uncorked immediately. Marvel at the mountain panorama and enjoy the first-class cuisine.

Back to Lucerne and dinner on Lake Lucerne

Now that you have filled up with plenty of fresh, alpine mountain air, you will return to Lucerne. In about an hour you will arrive in the city of lights and enjoy the wonderful view of the Chapel Bridge and the old town once again.

All good things must come to an end - not yet for you! You will spend the evening on a nostalgic steamboat on Lake Lucerne. Swing your dancing legs in one of the wonderful Art Deco Salons and let yourself be spoilt by the culinary delights on board.
