The alpine region of Klewenalp-Stockhütte is a typical Swiss destination, which is mainly known by hikers, bikers and snow sports enthusiasts. Aside of being centrally located and easy reachable, the main reasons of visiting this lovely region are the unbeatable view over Lake Lucerne and the untouched nature of this Fjord-style landscape.

How to get there

Klewenalp-Stockhütte is easy reachable from Lucerne within 15 minutes. Another very popular way of travelling to the region is the boat connection by a vessel of the Lake Lucerne navigation company. Klewenalp mountain station itself is then only a 9 minute aerial cableway ride from Beckenried. The other option is the gondola connection from Emmetten up to Stockhütte.
