In Andermatt, two restaurants have been awarded a first Michelin Star. The Japanese by the Chedi and the Restaurant Gütsch by Markus Neff are both located high up on Mt. Gütsch at 2300m above sea level. Enjoy the finest Japanese cuisine or French haute cuisine with regional influences and wine accompaniment in alpine surroundings with breathtaking views.
At Restaurant Sens in Vitznau Jeroen Achtien and his team have earned a second star. Here on the shores of Lake Lucerne, tradition meets modernity and creative dishes are created that take guests on a culinary journey.
With the "Michelin Green Star" there is a new award for restaurants with a particularly sustainable orientation. The first restaurant in Central Switzerland with a green star is located at the Kräuterhotel Edelweiss on Mt. Rigi. Benedikt Voss cooks imaginatively and subtly, uses only Swiss quality products, mostly organic, and processes over 400 different herbs from his own garden.
