Sergio Roth has decided to leave the Lucerne Convention Bureau (LCB) after 6.5 years in the position as Head of the department. He will pursue a new challenge as Head of the Professional College for Tourism Management in Lucerne. Sergio has further developed the Lucerne Convention Bureau sustainably over the last years and has helped establishing the CVB as an important player in the region. We thank him very much for his great work and wish him all the best for his professional future.
We are happy to announce that we were able to find an internal solution for his successor that will ensure the upholding of the professional standard the LCB is known for. Isaline Grichting will become the new Head of the LCB per October 1st and will increase her work hours to 70%. She has been with the department for 6.5 years and has a great knowledge especially in the handling of associations. Furthermore she already has extensive leadership experience from earlier commitments in other companies.
Isaline can count on a professional team with a lot of experience in Business Events. Abel Morais will be working 100% per September 2021 and Ursina Gerber will rejoin the team after maternity leave in a 40% pensums. Furthermore, Tiffany Peter will support the team during her internship with Lucerne Tourism.
