Following a meticulous renovation, Lucerne’s iconic belle époque landmark will be re-opening as Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern on September 24, 2022. Enjoying a serene location on Lake Lucerne, a stone’s throw from the old town and with spectacular views over the Swiss Alps, the hotel, which will feature the largest suites in the city, will set a new benchmark for the finest Swiss hospitality. The new opening is also set to establish the hotel as an epicurean destination. Modern French restaurant Colonnade, vibrant MOzern Bar & Brasserie, refined six-seat Japanese corner Mizūmi, and Mediterranean-style al fresco restaurant Quai 10 will all be overseen by executive chef Gilad Peled – an award-winning luminary who's led multiple Michelin-starred restaurants during his celebrated career. The SPA Bellefontaine meanwhile will offer a state-of-the-art fitness center, soothing wellness area, and rituals inspired by the Far East. To celebrate the opening, the hotel is offering two bespoke welcome packages for guests to enjoy.
